<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[dup  on ping to external ip in carp setup]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">Hi I have two pfsense in carp . my client is using the carp vip for lan as its default gateway. when i ping external ip and if both lan interfaces of my pfsense are up i get a dup in ping .. i am trying to ping any outside ip  usng tinylinux on lan segment. is it norrmal for carp setup ? the enviroment is a a test environment for a live setup and i am using  advance outbound nat and nating to carp ip for this lan segment.</p>
<p dir="auto">i do not get dup if i shut one of the  lan interface. i am not sure why is it happening.</p>
<p dir="auto">both vms of pfsnse are in virtual box with promiscious mode on.</p>
