Tertiary DNS

Is the option to put in a Tertiary DNS ever going to be allowed for when we Static the IP?

Download your config.xml via the webgui (diagnostics>backup/restore). Edit the xml file and add a third entry where the DNS-Servers are listed:
<pfsense><version>2.3</version>
<lastchange><theme>metallic</theme>
<system><optimization>normal</optimization>
<hostname>pfsense</hostname>
<domain>local</domain>
<username>admin</username>
<password>$1$dSJImFph$GvZ7.1UbuWu.Yb8etC0re.</password>
<timezone>Europe/Berlin</timezone>
<time-update-interval>300</time-update-interval>
<timeservers>pool.ntp.org</timeservers>
<webgui><protocol>http</protocol>
<certificate><private-key></private-key></certificate></webgui>
<disablenatreflection>yes</disablenatreflection>
<enablesshd>yes</enablesshd><maximumstates><dnsserver>x.x.x.x</dnsserver>
<dnsserver>y.y.y.y</dnsserver>
<dnsserver>y.y.y.y</dnsserver>
<enableserial></enableserial></maximumstates></system>
…..</lastchange></pfsense>Then reupload it. I think that should work.

Well under Status -> Interface it only shows the primary and secondary.
So I downloaded the config again and they are stil there, so when my ISP loose there main DNS server I'll see if this works :)
Will try to think of another test before then though ;)
