<![CDATA[Migrating 24.03 to New Hardware]]>Hello,

I'm currently on pfSense+ 24.03, and I am looking to migrate to better hardware. I'm not looking for hardware recommendations, but I am looking to find out if the licensing is able to be transferred to the new hardware. I originally was on CE, and took advantage of the free upgrade to plus when it was previously available. I'd really like to stay on plus as I'm using a few features that it has over CE.

Any advice on the best process to use to do this migration to new hardware?

I was on the very similar boat and if you on free-upgrade (CE -> Plus) then tac-support won't do it. I was told that free upgrade is tied to the H/W, hence cannot be transferred.
