I am installing on a Hyper-V Virtual Machine and I first added and Internal type of Network, and second a External type.

Normally this should not matter, but for some reason it does!! No matter what I did, the connection to outside was impossible. Anything I pinged failed. Although I do route the Internal connection to the Internet, and all the rest of the Virtual Machines connect with the Internet with no issue using the Internal network.

As soon as I removed to Internal type network, and only left the External type network, connection to the Internet was possible.

Please have a look into and fix.

You need 2 External switches.

If we summarize the three modes of Hyper-V switches are capable for:

External switch: It links to a physical card of the Hyper-V host and enables network access.

Internal switch: The switch isolates the VM but enables network switching between the Hyper-V host and the VMs.

Private Switch: It completely isolates the network from VMs.

EDIT - Don't confuse Internal/External with LAN/WAN.
