      Hi all,

I'm seeing some unexpected behavior in pfSense and would like to understand why it's happening.

I have multiple gateways configured (multi-WAN), and I’ve noticed that sometimes packets are being sent through the wrong gateway — one that doesn't match the source IP of the WAN interface. This seems to be causing packet loss, probably because the ISP is dropping packets with a "foreign" source IP.

My firewall rules are configured using Policy-Based Routing to force traffic out specific gateways. Still, I observe that some packets occasionally go out the wrong WAN.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is there a setting that could be overriding the firewall rules, or something specific about how pfSense handles routing with multiple gateways?

      Any help is appreciated!!1000550062.jpg 1000550064.jpg 1000550066.jpg
