Re: [WAN periodically Rebooting](.. Take Two)

I see it has been six months or so since my last post,.. and I thought it appropriate to wind this thread up once and for all,.. as the last post still had no real answers.

Much to my frustration,.. I engaged with BT several more time since May '25,.. each time they visited the premises,.. went to the exchange and cabinate reseated wires etc etc.
But post each visit I was always left with a 'Your service is fine sir' I'm measuring FULL spec. bandwidth
However I was only getting 76/10,.. where download was sub 10MBps below par..
So disappointed as I was, I just rescinded myself that was it, I was never going to see 20MBps upload..
Now six months on I did an adhoc check,.. and knock me down with a feather,.. I am now achieving 80.1/19.2MBps.
I have changed nothing,.. I am actually at the same config as I started, albeit a newer BT modem,.. uptime is in the 36days+ and growing....
So beats me what has changed,... yes I know the BT side 'learns',.. but I assume it should still give better than 10MBps when speed checked...
and thats where I'm at ATM...
I thank folks who have given feedback,.. and suggestions, and given me insight into configs etc
      KR

Mmm, wouldn't be the first time some failing line card got silently replaced when it finally failed. 😉
