Current pkg repository has a new PHP major version. pfSense should be upgraded before installing any new package.
-
I am running 25.07.1.
When I try to install packages, I am informed there is a new version of php and I need do a system update before installing packages. However, it says I have the lates version and there is nothing to update to.
thoughts anyone? -
@d1novak You probably picked up the wrong repo by accident. One of two things that may fix it:
In System / Update Update Settings, switch to the beta version, save, then switch back to the stable version and save again.
In a login shell, do
pkg-static clean -ay; pkg-static install -fy pkg pfSense-repo pfSense-upgrade -

Thank you!
Worked like a charm. -
