Using syslog-ng to remote log. After upgrade to 25.11 the connection is refused. I did not change anything prior to getting connection refusals. I logging to a device on opt1. Before I spend hours researching this I'd like to know if anyone else has this problem or if they are successful in logging to a remote address on their lan. I'm logging to remote port 5140, udp, BSD format.

@JonH I'm having no issue with remote logging.

The connection refused error would seem to indicated that the remote logging system is not available.

@dennypage thanks for this reply. I guess I’ll have to dig through my settings, more carefully. The same day that pfsense released an update, Apple also issued a major update. So I will start looking at Apple, rather than pfsense for whatever is blocking me.
