Dynamic DNS with Multiple WAN public IPs
-
I'm trying to get the Dynamic DNS service to work on multiple connections.
I have two separate WAN connections both of which have two (or more, but I'm only looking to use two in this setup) public IP addresses.
I'd like hostname1 to point to the first IP on whichever connection is currently active in a gateway group, and hostname 2 to point to the second IP on whichever connection is currently active in a gateway group.
However, the Dynamic DNS client always uses the primary IP address for the connection.
I've pulled up an earlier post on this topic which the OP solved by using a second gateway group and setting the virtual IP addresses of the gateway's, seems logical, and I'd already set it up in this way to no avail.

Have you looked into setting up it up under Services / Dynamic DNS / RFC 2136 Clients tab, where you can specific which interface?

@elvisimprsntr You can specify the interface in the Dynamic DNS Clients, that's the second column "WanFailover" and "WanFailoverSecondaryIPs" are the gateway groups (interface).
