DHCP Server does'nt work after LAN adress change
-
Hello Everybody,
In order to change the LAN IP address, I had to disable the following items:- "Track Interface" IPV6 in Interface/LAN
- Router Advertisement in Service
- DHCPv6 Server in Service
Then I modified the DHCP server (v4) for the new address range.
Since my DHCP server is no longer working, I can only access the LAN port with a static IP address on my computer.
Do you have any idea what is not working?
Thank you

I don't really understand why you had to disable IPv6 stuff when you only changed the IPv4 address, but maybe that is necessary.
What pfSense version are using and after you modified the LAN interface address and the DHCPv4 range, did the DHCPv4 server not come up again?

this was requested by Pfsense when modifying the LAN interface.

The pFsense version is 25.11-RELEASE, and the service DHCP was running, but no distributed IP addresses.

What DHCP server is in use? ISC DHCP or KEA?
Can you show a screenshot of the LAN interface configuration and the DHCPv4 settings?
And did you force the client to get a new DHCP lease, e.g. by rebooting the client, disconnection network at the client or pulling down and up the interface?

@patient0 Hello patient0,
I reloaded the backup configuration, re-change the LAN interface IP and now it seems to be working.
Many thanks for your help!
