Geo Blocker and Microsoft Azure wanting to connect overseas

I set up Geo blocker and my logs are filled with all the computers in the office trying to connect with Microsoft Azure in England, Japan, New Zealand and Japan how do I stop my computers from trying to connect toMmicrosoft Azure overseas?

There was an Azure outage earlier today.

@dgall you stop users from going to england or nz IPs? I could see maybe russia or china or something...

I did narrow it to the usual suspects I was just bored messing with the different settings in pfblocker Geo Blocker no matter how I have it set a few of these computers are not that old with windows 11 1st why are they constantly trying to connect to Microsoft Azure and 2nd if they are trying to connect why are they not trying to connect to something a little more local I am in Michigan.

This is, generally speaking, how 'the cloud' works.

Using a (paid) Entra SKU and Conditional Access policies, you can control which countries your tenant can be accessed from.

But unless your organization is eligible for Microsoft 365 Government, you're not going to be able to control where your tenacy's resources are stored. (And even then I'm not so sure.)
