Enable Multiqueue for Virtio

What needs to be done to activate Multiqueue for VirtIO?

I have already

• disabled ALTQ -> Feature #16166
• configured multiqueue for the network interfaces. (Proxmox)

Is there anything else I need to do?

How can I check, if it works?
