A major IT meltdown on my homelab has left me having to rebuild the entire thing from backups. Fortunately I am religeous about backups so it only took a couple of hours - but the one outstanding issue is that both my pfs+ licenses are failing to be recognised on their respective machines. I can now only access the CE edition. Both virtual machines report the pfs+ activation is recognised.

How do I get back onto the pfs+ stream?

@pfstyro the plus license is bound to the Netgate Device ID/NDI. That NDI changes if network cards change/are replaced/new one added.

So, did you have to replace some network cards?

          Thx for the prompt reply.

No, I had a cluster crash. All I did was break the cluster into isolated servers and restart the main Server's VMs. Didn't touch the hardware and didn't even need to pull the software back in.

Since it's shown as already registered that means it's NDI should be correct and known.

Did you have to reinstall? If not those VMs would already be running Plus and shouldn't ever show the CE update. Where exactly are you seeing CE repos?

Humblest appologies ... I have confused the release numbers between CE and plus and only just realised. I am in fact on plus (26.03), but for some reason thought that was a CE release number.

Sorry to have led you on a wild good chase. Hopefully, someone else will benefit from my stupidity by reading this and going 'Oh Yeah'.

I've learnt in my time working with some very smart people that everyone can do dumb things at times - just my turn now :-)
