The update from version 25.11.1 to 26.03 failed.
Below is a summary of the error, and you will find the full log attached.

      log_26_03_failed.txt

My system has been updating without any issues for years, and this is the first time I have encountered a migration error.

It looks like a conflict between PHP versions 8.5 and 8.4 during installation

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

      Kind regards,
      Sébastien

Yes those PHP warnings are normal during upgrade when the PHP version changes.

That's probably unrelated to the failure.

Do you see any errors logged or alerts after the upgrade?

          @sebz29a check for old BEs:
          https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/filesystem-shrink.html

To upgrade, select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings. When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, CPU, and/or disk speed.
Only install packages for your version of pfSense.

Sorry, it was an out-of-space issue.
I deleted some boot environments and the update went fine. Thanks for your help. The PHP and XML errors led me in the wrong direction.
26.03 is now finaly perfectly working.
            thanks u very much
            best regards
            sebastian
