I have dual WAN setup and the backup WAN has a lower MTU value. At present the WAN connections are plugged into different interfaces on the firewall.

I see I can modify the MTU size of a VLAN interface, therefore is it possible to have MTU of 1500 on the parent interface and then a VLAN with a lower value for the second WAN interface?

In my case 1500 and 1380

Yes that should be possible. Though the code handling it was reviewed recently. It works as expected in 26.03.
