Network issue in 2.81 VLAN inter-routing
-
Hi folks,
I attempted to upgrade from 2.7.2 to 2.8.1 been putting this update off for awhile, however during the night i did some maintenance replacing a dead drive in a mirror, anyhow I attempted to upgrade to 2.8.1 but been having a big issue with VLAN routing, I noticed that when doing a upgrade VLANs gets moved around and IPs change per VLAN, I did a fresh install of 2.8.1 and restored from the config.xml file and same problem occurs. So like IP Address for VLAN 5 gets switched to VLAN 6 and so on.
Only way I could fix this was to do a fresh install then instead of restoring from the config.xml is to start from scratch but even when doing this, routing between certain VLANs would stop working, not changed anything on the Cisco / LAGG / VLAN configuration, could not figure out what is causing this. One thing I have noticed is that with a VLAN works it routes the traffic through the wrong interface.
For the time being I have reverted back to 2.7.2 and the problem is fixed. Would anyone have any ideas?
Regards
Jack

Verifica lo siguiente:
Services -> DHCP Server:
Check you vlan dhcp ranges.Example: If you have vlan10 192.168.10.0/24, your address pool range 192.168.10.10-192.168.10.254
Check the vlan untaged ports in you switch.
Example: if you port 3 apear untaged in vlan10, and your pc conected to this port have a manual ip 192.168.20.3 <-- this is the error, put the pc on dhcp or configure manual ip 192.168.10.3.but i need mor informations, vlans and ranges.

@VioletDragon i am running 2.8.1 and current patches with my Cisco switch doing the L3 switching and it seems to be working. This is different but possible solution.
Untagged traffic should flow to the default VLAN. This sometimes throws things off.
