The php warnings are 'normal'.
You were following the update/upgrade process in the GUI ?
Boot again, and show us what you saw, but use the console access to see the full boot process, as the console doesn't need a fully booted OS and web server.

Thanks, Finally seems to have sorted itself and can connect now and shows latest version.
Did not need to use the console connection.

I had just updated from 24 to 25 and it rebooted in less than 5mins.
so I was not expecting the 25 to 26 to take so much longer.

The web page is missleading in this regard saying the system will reboot in 10sec and then counting down for 90sec, and again and again.
p.s. no packages installed

@mpf I've tried to suggest they change that timer for that reason... the problem is if someone powers it off during the install/boot it may end up partially upgraded.

It can vary some because it will reinstall packages. I had left pfBlocker installed on one a few months back and it tried to redownload/process its geo database, which took so long the upgrade thought it failed, and reverted. Though that was after I had logged in again.

If you've done multiple upgrades check for old boot environments.
