In the documentation at Netgate pfSense High Availability Guide https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/recipes/high-availability.html#configure-outbound-nat-for-carp, it shows how to configure Outbound NAT for CARP, and it says to add two rules in the Mappings section. Later, it says that if I add another WAN, LAN, or DMZ interface, I should add additional rules.
In my case, since I have a Multi-WAN setup, I create four rules for each LAN subnet interface. Should I do the same for each VLAN as well?

@Jdwind Nat is layer 3 functionality. Vlans is layer 2 so different interfaces too at the ip level.
So, yes you need additional rules for vlan interfaces too
