      Just upgraded my firewall from pfSense+ 25.07.1 to 26.03 this Sunday and although the software was released in April and I don't see any Release Notes showing a point release update, the system is reporting a build date of "Fri May 8 19:50:00 EDT 2026".

      What was changed in the May 8 build from the original 26.03 release?

        @axellarsson

        Did you read the the thread ? Unable to update repository pfSense (26.03) ?

        I'm seeing

        and no updates avaible.

        Probably a repos glitch, something like that.

          @axellarsson are you seeing that in the dashboard? My 26.03 shows the same date as @Gertjan's.

              Mmmh, that is very odd indeed. I guess only Netgate can answer that, maybe @stephenw10 will able to give more inside.

              Edit: maybe they patched dhclient/CVE-2026-42511 and backed a new kernel in the process. If it was an issue for 26.03 but if yes, then it certainly would be nice for everyone to get it.

                Yeah if you (re)installed since then you will see the new build date there.
