      Hello,
I am new to pfSense. I installed pfSense in VirtualBox and assigned it a Bridged Adapter. In the network settings, I set the Promiscuous Mode to Allow All. I installed pfSense and the network settings are as follows:

pfSense can ping clients on the network, but I can't ping pfSense from the clients. What is wrong?

      Thank you.

With just one interface like that the default ruleset would allow pings from other clients in the same subnet.

So unless you have changed the firewall rules I'd suspect you are trying to connect from a different subnet?
