Hello,
I tried to upgrade pfSense 2.7. I did:

pfSense-upgrade

After rebooting the system, I received the following error:

Any idea to solve it?

@hack3rcon I don't think that this the way to upgrade, at least I have not heard of that.

You either do it via the WebGUI 'System / Upgrade' or connected to the console, in the console menu, point '13) Update from console'.

You probably have to reinstall, have you a backup of the pfSense config?

You should be be able manually like that. It's the same upgrade process that is invoked by menu option 13 or the GUI.

What version were you upgrading from and to?

Did you see any errors during the upgrade?

The quickest way to recover is probably to reinstall. If you have a config backup it's trivial. If not you can almost certainly recover the config during the install.

I had pfSense 2.7.0 and I just executed that command. My VM rebooted and I got that error.

What happens if you run it again? Does it see an update still? Do you know what version it was offering initially?

Can you roll back the VM to an earlier snapshot and just run the upgrade again?
