      I have been testing the netgate 8200 for few week now and I still can’t achieve the performance I supposed to get.

      Here is my setup:
      I have 4 ISP internet lines (1gbps download and 500mbps upload) connected to a switch (Mikrotik). Setup Vlan on a 10gb SFP going to the Netgate 8200 on the port ix0 (netgate SFP) as a Vlan truck. Then I have one Mac Studio connected to the ix1 port (netgate SFP). I setup correctly pfsense to load balance each ISP internet line. All is working fine, but unfortunately the system seams limiting my speed to 2.3gbps download and 1.1gbps upload.

      Any idea what I could have miss in my configuration? or is there any hardware limitation on the netgate 8200, which I'm not aware of?

        @Nicolas-Billy Is this some kind of MLPPP connection?

        Bonded?

        If not then you are limited per connection to the speed of an individual ISP.

        Four 250mbps connection have the ability to supply four clients each 250mbps.. but not aggregate unless they are a bonded service somehow.

        Triggering snowflakes one by one..

          @chpalmer

          All my line is from the same ISP, I will get more information them if we can get a bundle from the ISP or if they support MLPPP connection.

          The thing is, if I stick to one connection ISP, the speed I'm getting is around 950 Mbps download and 400 Mbps. So that means if I'm not using the sticky option I'm using multiple internet line from the same ISP, I should get higher speed. That's what I'm getting. But I was expecting more speed out of 4 internet lines. So my Load balancing or bonding is working. I guess.

          I feel there is a limitation in my pipeline, because my speed test are solid 2.3 gbps download and 1.1 gbps upload, and it could go faster.
