      Hi everybody,
we have a wierd problem where the firewall looses contact to a printer. First our setup:
Netgate 7100 running the latest software. The firewall holds two local networks and two IPSECv2 vpn tunnels. tunnel one can access lan one and tunnel two can access lan two. Here is the problem:
two or three times a day tunnel two cannot access a specific printer, a Zebra Drucker ZT 411, other communications over the tunnel are working. The firewall can no longer ping the printer, but

      • computers on lan two can ping both firewall and printer
      • computers from lan one can ping both firewall and printer in lan two!
Only way to fix it: restart the firewall...
What we have tried so far:
      • exchange the Netgate 7100 with an appliance running pfSense 2.8.1
      • replace the printer
      • moved all devices to an unmanged switch without any vlans, etc.
      • crossed cables, replaced cables, nothing works
Any help is welcome we are running out of ideas.

      Best regards,

      Mike
