pfsense inside Protectli FW6A
-
Good evening everyone,
I don't know where to post and I don't even know if I'll get my answers in this forum but I'll give it a try.
Few days ago, I had to move my protectli, ISP modem and Wifi router from the bottom of a drawer and move it up since my 1 year old daughter is getting curious.
I unplugged all wires and I should of documented them before removing them, my fault.. now i'm paying the price.
I tried to reconnect all my wires and nothing worked, I reinstalled my Pfsense inside my Protectli and I can't find a way to gain access to 192.168.1.1 and start customizing it again. I used Naomi Brockwell TV youtube video about " You won't believe how UNSAFE your home router is! " how to install PFsense inside protectli.. sadly I've been trying for the last 3 days and nothing seems to work. I even tried to reset BIOS with protectli guide.
Help please ! :D

@ActOfGod Protectli has a tutorial of how to install pfSense: https://kb.protectli.com/kb/how-to-install-pfsense-ce-on-the-vault/ .
- What pfSense version did you install?
- How do you get your public WAN IP from your ISP, DHCP or PPPoE? Is it fiber or DSL?
- To what ports have you connected the ISP modem, the Wifi router? Do you use any switch?
- What Wifi router is it? And is it set to AP mode or router mode.
And if the installation went ok, please share a screenshot of the (black and white with text) console screen you get after installation (blur you WAN address for privacy).

@patient0 thank you for your reply, I was able to install it properly now without installing 2.8.0 version of Pfsense
