optimum settings

So I decided to switch one of my networks from fios to optimum as a test as they offered me 2 gb internet service with ipv6 and symmetrical speeds and no cgnat for half the price of verizon and I am wondering what ipv4 and ipv6 settings should I set also is optimum fiber service comparable to fios? Is there anything I should look out for? thanks

How is the connection provided?
It probably just needs dhcp/dhcpv6.

It is fiber into their "gateway" then ethernet into pfsense. I know I have to ask them to put their gateway into bridge mode but that is all I know. thanks.

Assuming they are not using PPPoE you probably only need to set the WAN as dhcp. They might require something additional like a VLAN but that's unlikely. If they do you would find users asking about it.
