I'm playing with CoreDNS, and I really like the concept/idea and all the features it brings.

But one critical thing is missing as far as I Can tell. There is no way to log what queries clients made, and what result was returned to them. That means I cannot do statistics, forensics or any other kind of security related monitoring of CoreDNS.

While I miss some of those features in Unbound and pfBlockerNG when it comes to remote logging, they do however give me the option of logging it locally.

CoreDNS is a blackbox right now in terms of monitoring unless I missed some options somewhere.

Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)
