Nexus license migration when replacing controller hardware?

Example: I buy 3 Nexus mim-device entitlements from the Netgate shop and apply them to my Controller. Later, the hardware my Controller runs on needs to be replaced. What happens to those 3 purchased entitlements, can they be migrated to the new hardware, or does that need a TAC ticket? Couldn't find this covered in the Nexus Licensing docs.

There's some flexibility for hardware changes but a full system replacement would require contacting TAC to assign the license to the new system.
