Help me understand why - can't get to internet when connected via wg

So I have a WireGuard connection configured on my pfSense router, and it works flawlessly. I can get to my local (LAN) devices without any issues.
But, while connected to the router via WG, I can't get out to the internet through the router. Example: one of my devices is an Arduino which functions as a webserver. Works fine at home and also remotely via the WG connection. But, the charts that are created by the webserver (using charts.js) don't work. And I can't access any internet sites using a browser, while connected to my router with the WG circuit.
Is this by design, for security reasons? Or should it work and I just have something configured wrong?

Have you configured Outbound NAT for the WG network?
Are WG users receiving working DNS servers?
Do you have firewall rules in place that allow WG users to access the internet?
Is AllowedIPs set to 0.0.0.0/0?
