APU Console Beep Absent in 26.07

I have a grandfathered license for Plus on my APU4. With 26.07, the logon console beep doesn't work. (With 26.03 it beeped loudly on login and logout. On prior versions, it beeped less loudly only on login.) The startup and shutdown tones do work. The UI box is checked to sound the console beep. Anyone else seeing this on other hardware?

@stephenw10 Thanks for the response. Sounds like a regression. (I saw a security advantage to the way 26.03 worked - beeping at login and logout - but I guess that itself was a regression from the intended operation - beep at login only.) I'll file a regression.

BTW, also seeing same issue in 2.9 CE.
