I feel really dumb right now. I have enabled the Nexus Controller on my local Netgate Firewall, and get the Nexus Authentication page when I go to the secure URL, but my credentials are not accepted. My confustion is that I use a PW manager, and it is recognizing the Nexus Auth page the same as the legacy PFSense Auth page at the same IP address, and is offering the same username and pw. Those same creds work on the legacy login page, just not the Nexus page. I don't (yet) have 2fa enabled, so that probably isn't a factor. Help!? ;-) (And thanks!)

It just won't take autofill from my bitwarden. But if manually put it in works. It's a simple test password no caps no special 4 charters and 4 numbers.

If I copy paste the password from bitwarden it works, but if try and autofill I get this

I played with it for quite some time - have no idea why it fails. I normally don't login to the camera's directly but when you invalid creds I thought of those cameras. Oddest thing - but since its a simple password I just manually type it.

But think was other thread I tried protonpass and yeah it fails with nexus, but bitwarden works just fine for my nexus login Same creds, same entry in bitwarden.

I had deleted protonpass - might have to try it with my cameras ;)

edit:
Just tried with my cameras - and doesn't autofill anything even when you select the site.. I know not related to your specific issue.. I was just curious if proton would work with them..

edit2: yeah played with proton a bit more.. I can't get it to autofill anything, even though I create an login for nexus and it puts a little 1 in its icon when I go to the site. I just wont autofill anything - only thing it does when put cursor into the password fill is offer to put in a generated password.

Can you also try creating a user with a simple password to see if that works? That will help me nail down what exactly the root cause is here.
@<bdi>KevinRice</bdi> I would blame that on proton pass, the login fields have the standard autofill names.
