      Hello there,

I am using a nice qotom appliance for pfsense+.
      Upgraded to 26.07.
      Tried to test coredns.
      Couldn't find it.
Searching for it found that i have to enable nexus.
      Tried to enabled nexus...
Nexus is not available for this system.
Searched and found that i have to have a netgate appliance.
      Why?
Paid for pfsense+ to have all new features etc on time.
Now i have to pay for netgate appliance?
      Is this normal?

@AlexanderK search for CoreDNS in the forum, that topic came up a lot in the last week or two.

Summary: on some VMs and (Chinese) boxes (inc Protectli) Nexus doesn't run yet (out of the box). A serial number has to be set in the BIOS and some of the before mentioned don't do that.

In the threads that you'll find when searching the forum, people show how to set serial numbers for Chinese boxes and some VMs.

Netgate wrote that they are working to resolve this issue, their goal is that Nexus runs on all platforms.
