-
Hej
I'm unable to find the squid/squidguard package in my packagelist.
It should be supported:

I'd like to filter URL requests going to the Internet.Friendly Greetings

It has developed some issues since then and has been disabled until they can be addressed.

I'm assuming the issues are with folks using squid to cache to the CF card and blowing it out. Is it possible to re-enable the package for those using squid as a web proxy only? I was working on a project that was leveraging squid for that purpose…
Thanks for all the hard work; I love the product!

With some additional testing that will likely be possible. That was my intent when I first got it working on NanoBSD.

I really hope this can be possible - just bought an ALIX based pfSense firewall with the intention of using it for content filtering at home. I should have checked…
Is there a chance that this functionality will be built in the near future? If not, I might opt to return the appliance.
Thanks!

FYI- I re-enabled squid and squidguard on NanoBSD today. I added squid's "null" cache type which disables caching. Those using squid on nanobsd should use this type, and disable ALL logging.
