      I would like to know? can i setup a network attached storage in pfsense to use the same server for a networkattached storage is it possible ?

          If you run it in a virtual machine and give the host ISCSI abilities, so yes you can. :)

            I would like to why not it would be very nice .I have 2 pfsense boxes running and there as fast or faster than any so called gaming machine .It would be great to plug in a couple of sata drives and use the pfsense as storage device also !!

              Ahhhh, sorry. I misunderstodd your question…..and no it wouldnt. It is a firewall.....

              If you want 2 things on the same machine, run Freenas and PFsense in 2 Vm's on the same hardware....and the ISCSI to the storage.
