WLAN/WiFi PCI Linksys WMP600n on pfSense 2 with FreeBSD 8.1 RC1
I try the wireless card (PCI) Linksys WMP600n to be initialized on pfSense. Until now, unfortunately without success.

One must be said, I used a Linux router and pfSense is my first FreeBSD router/server.
Unfortunately, I have little experience in FreeBSD.
I found on the Internet that the wireless card is supported (under FreeBSD 8). Is that true?
How I install the wireless card or driver on my pfSense 2.0-BETA3?
Thanks for your help and excuse the bad English.
EDIT: Can not anyone help me?
EDIT2: I have updated. Current version:

Your card isn't listed in the supported devices list at http://www.freebsd.org/releases/8.0R/hardware.html
That doesn't mean its not supported; support depends on the chipset on the card. Do you know what chipset is used on the card?
FreeBSD also has a mechanism for using Windows drivers. I have no experience with this. Perhaps you could use this. I don't know if this would provide the functionality you want - for example it might not provide Access Point mode.
yes I know.
Chipset: RALINK 2860 / rt2860
According to Internet research.
These web pages are interesting:
But I do not understand. A FreeBSD developer said he adds it in the Version 8. Or have I misunderstood something?
According to this list, nothing was added.
Can you help me?
Thanks for the help.
According to this list the chipset is not supported.
There is a project to produce a FreeBSD driver for that chipset. It seems to be pretty well advanced and is probably close to ready for production use. However it is not yet incorporated into any supported release of FreeBSD. FreeBSD 8.1 is close to ready for release - maybe the driver will be included in FreeBSD 8.1.
And when it is completed? To a release no new drivers are added. True or not?
And I have 8.1-RC1.
Should I not try to install the driver? Or it might be that it is supported in the release?
Ok, how do I install a git package on pfSense 8.1-R1? I want install this driver.
