<![CDATA[Switch NIC's without loosing settings]]>I wanted to share a quick and easy way to safely switch a NIC without loosing any settings. I wasn't sure where this should be posted.

I just recently switched my DMZ usb nic for a real NIC and I wanted to keep all settings for the interface including DHCP, FW, and IP settings. What I found easiest was to backup the config and edit the interface.
Example: I removed aue0 for fpx0 in the opt1 interface section. Please note that I removed aue0 before installing fpx0.
