Folding @ home on pfsense
-
Ok, I have the developers edition of pfsense 1.0.1 so that I could get full functionallity out of freeBSD 6.1
I have been trying to get stanfords folding@home application to run on my router, but have been unsucessful. I've read online that people have been able to get it working with FreeBSD 5.1 but I have not seen any reports for 6.1
Can someone please walk me through how to get the linux client running on my pfsense freeBSD box? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Anyone, the software is for a great cause.
I know you should be able to run linux binaries on FreeBSD, but I cant figure out how

pfSense does not have linux support in the kernel. This will not work unfortunately.

performance-wise, how does pfsense compare to a linux version of router such as endian? Would I really notice the difference in performance on a P2 400 MHz 384 MB ram?
thanks,
