I am contemplating about seeting up a pfSense firewall…. As I understand pfSense does support OpenVPN :-)

Question:
Does that mean, traffic of WLAN clients could be tunneled as well (if an AccessPoint/AP) is available?

Any feedback is appreciated very much!

Thank you!

A box that can handle 50 Mb/s of unencrypted traffic may have problems with 10 Mb/s of encrypted traffic. A lot will depend on what VPN technology you use, what level of encryption you decide upon etc.

Yes, just keep in mind that you'll need much higher specification hardware to tunnel all traffic.

Thank's a lot Cry Havok for the feedback! Does that mean pfSense is not the choice for such tasks?

Thank you!
