Monitoring remote Alix 2D3

Hi Everyone,

With the growing number of Alix 2D3's we are installing at customer sites, we have to think about some form of strategy for monitoring these devices. It's getting a bit tedious manually logging in to check stats.

Does anyone here run the SNMP daemon on the Embedded pfSense on Alix 2D3? Does it hurt performance?

If SNMP is too resource hungry for these boards, is there anything else I can do?

snmp shouldn't hurt too much, especially if you're just grabbing a few stats off the box.
