Postfix forwarder non-standard port
-
First.. Thank you for all your hard work on 2.0, and for the postfix
package. This will allow me to replace my OpenBSD 4.6 box with a very simple
interface.I realize this is may not be a hot topic for most..
My question,
the postfix forwarder does not allow "non-standard" ports to be added via
the GUI and does not keep them after I modify the transport (and postmap transport) and reboot.
i.e
example.com smtp:[mailhost.example.com]
is allowed
but
example.com smtp:[mailhost.example.com]:2525
is not…Is there a php script that I can modify to fix this ?
( I have friend that is a bang up php coder)or would it be better to put in a small script (I can do this myself)
-- replace transport file ,
-- postmap transport
-- postfix reloadThx

You can find the postfix package files under /usr/local/pkg/ - you can adjust the .inc and .xml files to get what you want.
If you manage to make that work, do a diff between the old versions of the files and the ones with your changes and we can get them into the "real" package for everyone.
