I have a brand new HPCompaq p4 computer with 512 of ram. I am trying to load Pfsense on the new computer. I put the Live cd in the cdrom, and Everything is coming up. I hit 99 to load the onto the harddrive. I reboot the computer and the boot loader come up. After the boot loader the computer starts a loop. I have to turn off the computer. I cannot get the computer to boot up the firewall.

Try installing with and without the "packet mode" option (this option is setable during the hdd install process).

        Also try suggestions from
