It wasn't clear if that's what you did from your last post.</p>
<p dir="auto">Hyperthreading should be OK to enable, though in most workloads it doesn't really gain you that much.</p>

set value to: default (1)</p>
<p dir="auto">is it now possible to enable hyperthreading in the bios or will i have to reinstall to build a proper kernel?</p>

<p dir="auto">sysctl hw.acpi.handle_reboot=1</p>
<p dir="auto">If that lets it reboot, set that up under System &gt; Advanced, on the System Tunables tab.</p>
