WebGUI Freezes after Clear Log
-
I was unsure if I should post in http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,37712.0.html or http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,38093.0.html so I started a new thread.
I have a Watchguard Firebox X700-Core with a 8 GB CF loaded with the 4G 06-21-11 image which was upgraded to the 8/31 Snapshot. System has the default 256 MB of RAM. Current log entries is set to 100.
On the 'Firewall' tab, if I click clear logs, the WebGUI immediately hangs. On other tabs this may also occur, it seems to only happen if the tab I'm trying to clear has its maximum number of log entries, but I hadn't been tracking it as it's only locked up three times and on different tabs.
Here's 'top':
last pid: 34222; load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 up 2+17:10:14 10:05:18 50 processes: 1 running, 49 sleeping CPU: 0.0% user, 0.0% nice, 0.0% system, 0.0% interrupt, 100% idle Mem: 47M Active, 100M Inact, 55M Wired, 34M Buf, 33M Free Swap:
I have installed LCDD5 (http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,7920.msg207659.html#msg207659), nano (editor) via pkg_add -r nano, and mbmmon+phpsysinfo also via command line.
There are maybe 11 or 12 NAT rules and associated firewall rules, plus a couple extra firewall rules for certain software. Outbound NAT is set to Manual with a single rule for static port mode. States is set to 40,000.
If there's any additional information anyone needs for helping sort this out, I'm happy to provide it (as long as you tell me how to get it, I'm a pfSense newbie).
Edited to add:
Browser in use was Mozilla Firefox 3.6.21 with NoScript installed. Firewall is whitelisted in NoScript.
Following using option 11 via SSH, the session via Firefox remained hung, but I was able to open a new session in Google Chrome which showed that the log had been cleared. I then clicked Clear log in the Chrome session (there were less than 20 log entries) and the session in Chrome immediately hung.
A browser restart seems to solve it, but simply opening a new tab will not let me back into the WebGUI.
