Dlink DGE-530t rev C1 network card

I see that there was an update to the OpenBSD source code for that network card.
http://freshbsd.org/commit/openbsd/83858f455318714696c17df0f61a521f8108665fI would like to make the same update to my pfsense 2.0 kernel and recompile it, is that possible?

It may be possible but it would be much more complex that that diff.
Support for that card was added to FreeBSD, on which pfSense is based, in August this year:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/re/if_re.c?rev=1.160.2.29;content-type=text%2Fx-cvsweb-markupHowever pfSense 2.0 is built on FreeBSD 8.1 which was released in May 2010:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/re/if_re.c?rev=1.160.2.9;content-type=text%2Fx-cvsweb-markup
A lot has changed in that time!It would take an experienced coder to backport the changes. It may be possible to add support for the card by simply adding the device ids.
Either way you would have to make the changes to the code and compile it on a FreeBSD 8.1 install and then copy the resulting kernel module across to your pfSense box.Or you could wait for the first build of the upcoming 2.1 which will be built on FreeBSD 9. ;)

Thanks, I have decided to change the NIC with these PWLA8391GTBLK (Intel), but now the system is crashing every 5-6 hours. The system had run correctly for a week then start crashing.
I'm posting on another thread for that issue.
Thanks
