Since last nights forum outage for server maintenance I can no longer edit my own posts after only a few hours.

      Is this the intended behaviour?

Maybe something not went well during the maintenance, I lost my user and had to create it again.

          Well that was my thought.
I'm really missing the edit feature. Now I have to try and get everything right first time!  ::)

I am I really the only person who edits their posts after a few hours?  ???
I don't believe that for a second. If I post something that later turns out to be confusing or flat out wrong I like to be able to go back a change it (or at least comment on it's wrongness  ;) ).

Am I the only one unable to edit or is it a forum wide change?

Only thing that changed was the database server moved to different hardware, which doesn't impact anything remotely like this. I can still edit posts, mine and others, though being an admin that's different. Is the modify post button not there at all, or?

It's there for few minutes after post, then only quote.

maybe somethin like this is needed, but in reverse

Ah, found the setting in admin. It's been set to 60 minutes forever as far as I'm aware, and it definitely was prior to the database move as the old database server has it set to 60 as well. I upped it to about 3 days.

Previously I have been able to edit posts of any age.
This is useful. I have added comments to posts where information has become outdated from months previously.

Could it be more or timeless?

Sometimes topic solution take more then 03 days.

Sometimes it takes longer for the lazy guys.  ;)
                              15 days, maybe?
