<![CDATA[Huawei E176 / T-Mobile web'n'walk Stick IV]]>I want to use a Huawei E176 / T-Mobile web'n'walk Stick IV as a backup for my two ADSL WAN connections. Therefore I've connected the stick via USB and used the following instructions for setup: http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Configuring_3G_modems
Unfortunately, I don't get a connection. It always appears the following error message in the log file: "ppp: [opt2_link0] chat: The remote modem did not answer."
My provider is T-Mobile Germany with the following settings:

APN: internet.t-mobile
User: t-mobile
Password: tm
Dial-number: *99#

What could be the cause of this? Does this USB stick work with pfSense in general?

Next problem is, that I don't get an ip-adress. What could be the reason for this?
