<p dir="auto">The pfsense initiates services/packeges installed that they do not have an rc file defined?  As this:</p>
<p dir="auto">&lt;service&gt;&lt;name&gt;ANYSERVICE&lt;/name&gt;<br />
&lt;description&gt;ANYDESC&lt;/description&gt;<br />
&lt;executable&gt;execfile&lt;/executable&gt;<br />
&lt;startcmd&gt;mwexec_bg('/usr/sbin/anyexec');&lt;/startcmd&gt;<br />
&lt;enable&gt;yes&lt;/enable&gt;&lt;/service&gt;</p>
<p dir="auto">If no, i suggest that all the services with tag enable defined and without rc file are initiated on bootup.</p>
