Since I have a fiber connection since a few months with both internet and IPtv, I needed to replace my Juniper NS5GT because of performance issues.
I choose to use pfsense because it is one of the few firewalls incorporating an igmp proxy (I started with a juniper SRX but it has no igmp proxy and doesn't support DHCP-PD to get an IPv6 address)

Currently the network is setup as shown in the drawing attached

Everything is working fine, except for the IGMP proxy. Channel switching is extremely slow.
Also, once or twice a day it fails switching. When looking in the log it shows errors.
If this occurs, the fastest way to cure is restart the IGMP proxy.

Does anyone know what is causing this issue and why channel switching is so slow (several seconds).
