Vhosts broken???
-
Besides what I was asking before about the inability to add an IPv6 address to listen on, I also noticed that vhosts is not creating the folders where the web site assets are supposed to go when one sets up a new site.
As if that weren't enough, no matter how often I start it up from the Dashboard, and despite the newly created site being enabled, it still won't show up as being active.
And then, to top it off, sftp seemingly isn't working in 2.1, either. http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,50775.0.html
So at this point, it's a total no-go.

Well, manually executing
/usr/local/sbin/lighttpd -f /var/etc/vhosts-http.conf
will get things going,
except that going to the e.g. www.myhost.com will not load index.html, but instead some php status page. So you have to go to www.myhost.com/index.html, but that's likely a minor fix.Turns out, the package puts an index.php file into the folder, so all that's needed is to rename that before/after uploading the actual site files. On the other hand, all the other lighttpd config files seem to be of the form
/var/etc/lighty-*.conf
which makes me wonder (too tired to search around), if maybe some script isn't expecting this to be /var/etc/lighty-vhosts-http.conf or something along these lines…

And then, besides getting the service started, there's also this:
