      Does the advanced rule option in the subject of this post apply per host or per rule?  If it's per rule is there anyway to change it to per host or institute a per host connection rate limit?

        The Book of PF says this is a per host limit.  So its exactly what I'm looking for.  The more I use pfSense the more I love it.
