<![CDATA[IPSEC mobile clients (automatically assigned IP)]]>I recently installed pfsense 2, primarily for use with mobile clients and site-site testing; it works great, as did version one.  I opted to let the unit assign an IP address to the clients (running Shrewsoft's access manager), and I decided on range 192.168.77.0/24.

The clients always get assigned 192.168.77.1, so either it's a bug, or I've misunderstood something… it's probably the latter.  We can use static addresses, I just wondered if anyone had seen this before.
